Makes approximately 12

Ingredients

500ml cake flour
2ml salt
2 large eggs
250ml milk
125ml water
30ml sunflower oil
45ml Illovo Golden Syrup
20ml baking powder

Method

1. Sift flour and salt together into a large mixing bowl.
2. Beat eggs, milk and water together.
3. Pour onto sifted ingredients and beat until smooth.
4. Add in oil, syrup and baking powder.
5. Place spoonfuls of batter into a greased pan.
6. Serve warm with fresh seasonal berries and your favourite Illovo Syrup flavour.
